46. Why Psychedelics are Spiritually Dangerous #newagetojesus

For two years, I sought love, a connection with God, and fulfillment through New Age spiritual practices. I used psychedelics, including Ayahuasca nine times and psilocybin (mushrooms) many times, and I know many others who have explored various psychedelics in their spiritual journeys. After coming to know Jesus, I realized that while I thought these substances were helping me heal, they were actually leading me to believe I was the god of my own life, pulling me further from the truth. Wow! This is a must watch/listen. Tela did not believe in God. Unexpectedly she and her husband were both arrested. While in jail, Tela felt the love of God. The kicker is that her husband was saved at the same time and they didn’t know until they were reunited when they both were released from jail.

A few short weeks ago I spoke to Mark about the many concerns and arguments he had against Christianity. At that time I knew in my heart that he would find the Truth in Jesus Christ. I knew that he was seeking and anyone who seeks diligently for the Truth will find it in Jesus.
